Today we live in a society in which appearances count for a lot.
This can be seen on social networks such as Instagram, where we try to post the prettiest publication possible even if it does not completely reflect reality.
This constant search for perfection is especially apparent in the search for the perfect body…
For a few years now, we have been able to see a new trend emerge on our Instagram feeds that has gradually imposed itself in our media landscape: that of “fit girls”
The fit girls what is it ?
These are women who share personal development tips and photos of their flawless bodies and a lifestyle that is driven by sports, healthy food with their followers.
However, although it is very important to practice a regular sport activity to maintain good physical and moral health, this phenomenon on leads to another much more worrying phenomenon: body shaming.
The body Shaming ?

Body shaming affects mostly women dare to show their body with its curves or imperfections on social networks.
Those who assume to show what a women’s real body can be, are insulted, denigrated, threatened by people who are rooted in the cult of the perfect body.
It is estimated that 30% of the French declare having been the target of this type of attack.
Moreover, this phenomenon does not only affect people like you and me, but also female personalities such as Celine Dion or Miss France 2019.
Remember, the perfect body doesn’t exist. You are all unique and that’s what makes you beautiful.
Take care of you !
Bye.

This was an interesting article, I like the parallel between fit girls and body shaming. It feels like plus size girl are shamed, but then again fit girls too, so the real question is which girl's body isn't shamed ?
